Can anybody explain the love for the flag that ´bikers´have?
It's called "patriotism". Google it if you're not sure of the meaning of the word.

I think burning the flag is stupid, but it's still their right.
the best the everyone could have done was ignore them. they just want attention for their cause.
guess what? they just got national attention thanks to the bikers

I agree, I'm just stating that both sides are complete morons.
ETA:
Actually all 3 sides

because frick the 1st amendment, right?
The first amendment means the government can't throw you in jail for it, it doesn't really apply to private citizens interactions with each other.

they have a first amendment right to protest by burning the flag (as stupid as that is)
the bikers do not have a right to attack and physically assault people for protesting.

Counter protests better start taking off. I'd love to see that.
They're pretty entertaining. Especially the biker ones...Quannell X, a local activist/scam artist in Houston, was holding a protest/press conference outside of a police station. A group of bikers showed up and revved their engines the whole time so no one could hear what he was saying. He was losing his shite.

Probably a majority of bikers are vets. All of the bikers I know are Vietnam or Desert Storm vets.

Hopefully the violent thug bikers are arrested, no one wants a repeat of their murderous ways as displayed in Waco.

So, we will burn the American flag, a symbol of oppression and genocide,
Did I miss the part of history class when the US systematically killed people on a large scale? These people are a bunch of tryhards who need to feel important. They should have all got their asses beat.

Well, that's a StrongSafety signal if I've ever seen one.

There weren't any government entities involved in this dispute. The First Amendment has nothing to do with it, other than both parties had the right to show up and to protest and counter-protest.

they absolutely do. that doesn't involve assaulting people.

Good Point. But wasn't the flag different back then? That still wouldn't make the flag a symbol of genocide. I mean that was like 2-300 years ago.
