I came on here and asked some advice about tinting windows in my home to make my home cooler on warm sunny days and someone recommended solar screens. Well I got the solar screens installed last week and the difference is night and day. My AC has yet to kick on all weekend which is nothing short of a miracle.

Glad I was able to help.

Also, do you happen to be divorced with kids?

Impossible. The OT is not capable of doing good things.

What'd they run you cost wise? My wife had these fricking electronic gas filled self glazing ones installed and I'll never save enough in electricity from the a/c to have them pay for themselves

If a family member gets murdered or teabagged the OT will solve that too. It's a one stop shop and an equal opportunity offender.

Solar Cool is the name of company. Yes they do block some natural light but they do a tremendous job of blocking out the heat. You can see out from inside the house great but you can't see in from the outside. They look good too, not trashy .

I'm here to accept that is on behalf of the OT although I'm new and have no idea what thread you are talking about.

Not true. The OT has solved crimes and saved lives.

True story.

Yep, a friend had the second story porch done, I installed side openings and it was very pleasant for wine tastings. I like the fact you can see out, but it's hard to see in.

Jeez. I used to make these screens at a hardware store back in high school. They are easy to make but I didn't realize how expensive they are now.
