Big plane that circles around Monroe

Does anybody know what this plane is doing. I've been seeing it for a few years now and have always assumed it was some type of security/survellience

National Guard unit practicing. Should be obvious. I think they are doing touch and go at the airport.

yeah when i was up there a couple months ago I was hitting balls at the driving range at Chenault and watched them do several touch and goes with a C-???

It's a C-130 transport doing touch and goes. Has been doing this for 10 plus years.

I sure loved watching me some A-10s out of England AFB in Alexandria...they'd come down to SWLA frequently. Hated when they went away.
