Gist of the story is he had a longstanding feud with an elderly neighbor. One day he squirted the guys vehicle with his hose as the old guy was leaving the house. It seems the old guy rolled down the window and Lee hosed the inside of his vehicle.
The old guy got pissed, got out his vehicle and shot the guy once, killing him.
Dick move by the much younger Lee with the neighbor being 78 yrs. old and all. Pretty juvenile at best to be acting like that with Lee being middle aged as well.
Guess he just pushed the old guys button one time too many.

Then I think it was last year, he got into an argument with some woman in Kenner and did something that led to him being arrested.
And for the last 15 years he has claimed to be some LSU super fan. When LSU played in Nola against OSU for the national championship, he put a big LSU flag on his truck and drover all around the french quarter non stop blaring hold that tiger and shite. Got on the news some over the years.

Yeah, from what I gather, he was no stranger to the other side of the law from time to time.
Seems most of the folks in that neighborhood knew things would not end well with him and the old man and even his brother is said to have made the statement that "Lee is now in a better place". Which is strange since the guy didn't die of a horrible disease after suffering for some time. I took it to mean the guy had some pretty serious judgement issues.
