Ok baws. Never played golf but just bought some clubs. Been looking like a bigger retard than usual trying to emulate what I'm seeing on Youtube in the backyard. So who/where do I go in BR to learn some basic golfing.

Take a few lessons to get something good to work on. Chris Burkstaller at The Island is good.

Golf is the exact opposite of trashy. If I see someone wearing a Titleist or Taylormade hat, I immediately gain respect for them. If you're a regular golfer it means you have a pretty good bit of money & it means you have cool friends who also play golf. People say it's an elitist sport. I agree. If you play golf, you're better than someone who doesn't.

I've taken a few with him circa 2006 or so. I think he used to be at Santa Maria. Would recommend.

Go to a driving range and practice. Don't play on a course until you can hit the ball solid consistently

Let's get off each other's moms. I just did. Hit them so hard doggy style they are out chasing cars.

Some slowdown as you make your way to the base

All clear on the Bonnet Carre spillway

No restrictions on the causeway

Didn't offend me baw. Wanted to make sure I set the expectations low. I don't need to be going anywhere too fancy just to be another dumb redneck on the golf course.
