Obviously the airport is one of the more dreaded places to have to be on long layovers, delays, etc. I had a two hour delay in Nashville last night. Got a handful of beers in this cool little bar, a band playing, started chatting it up with an IRL 7. Man, I had a great time. Really didn't want to have to make it end and get on the plane. Oh well...got digits although I doubt anything comes of it.

Any good airport stories?

I always make sure I'll have club access before I fly, makes it 1,000,000x easier. That and TSA Pre-Check.

I'm originally from the Eastern European nation of Krakozhia. One time I flew into JFK airport. At Customs I was forbidden entry to the USA - Krakozhia had been taken over in a coup and the US did not currently recognize the new regime, or nation. In addition, the borders of Krakozhia were now closed. This left me in limbo - I could not enter the US or go back to Krakozhia. While waiting for the diplomatic situation to sort itself out I was forced to live in the International Transit section of JFK, living off my own resourcefulness. I also made some new friends along the way.

That should be a movie. Need a good actor with drama and comedy chops to play you though.

Leaving the School of Infantry, at the hotel/barbershop in Jacksonville, NC, I'm a 20 year old PFC. I drank four beers before I boarded the plane. That was cool.

I don't fly much.

I was yelling at this guy that voted for Trump while on my way to my mother in laws funeral, until they booted me from the plane.

i got stuck in chicago for like 7 hours. Got absolutely shite canned. I didn't get digits, but I didn't try. Drinking on the company dime is the best.

Now, I don't drink before or during flights as a hangover on a plane sucks.

Probably the lack of expectations, people being more uncomfortable to be themselves etc. Half the battle is just talking to the girl and you're more likely to do it there than perhaps in your regular life, and so on
