I know some in the board think tats are trashy but I like them anyway. Where's the best place in the area?

Artists have different specialties... it really depends on what you want done.

Realism - Traditional - Color - Black & Grey ... etc.

Just find some meth addicts, gang members or unemployed folk.

That should lead you to a tattoo parlor.

I know what I want put not exactly what style I want it in. Just looking for reputable shops with artists that do good work.

Jordan at Hell or High Water in New Orleans is a great artist. You'll recognize him as the guy with the giant eagle tattoo on his forehead. He's done work on Norman Reedus and some musicians, members of Mastodon, Goatwhore, and a few others.

Just get a tiger eye or some other LSU themed tat. Because that's clearly what alums do.
