None. The streets are where it's at.

What you do you mean "most hotels have none" when it comes to parking. They all have parking, it's rarely free. Just pay the parking fee.

Ritz, windsor court or roosevelt.

Ritz has the nicer rooms, but getting your car is the biggest pain of the three.

Windsor court has the nicest lobby, the hotel bar us a little too stuffy for mytaste, but it is secluded and private.

Roosevelt is my current favorite. Valet is quicker than the other two, sazerac bar is a good time and the rooms are on par with wc.

I will say that the Sheraton downtown was too nice to house myself and dozens of other drunken degenerates last weekend. A super 8 would have been far more fitting

The ritz has great service, which makes it what it is. The rooms are horrible unless you are 80 years old.

I would go hotel monteleone, for the nice rooms, proximity to the fq, and history.

Look up La Richelieu...it's not nice like the ones posted here, but it's on the cool side of the quarter and you park in their lot with your own remote...so going uptown or taking the car out is super easy. French Quarter guest houses are cool as well, and on the good side of the quarter as well.

Love me some Monteleone. Not a cooler place to drink than the Carousel Bar.

That bar does kick arse. I hear people complaining about how small the rooms are there for the price though.

And yes OP, be prepared, N.O. hotels are expensive this time of the year.

W, if you don't require a cane. The Mont would be my second pic due to the history fact alone. It's outdated too, though.
