Bernard deMarigny actually brought craps back from an "exile" in Europe.
His daddy had to send him away to curb embarrassment.

If you are going to call Poker an invention from Louisiana (I had no idea) then I'm going to have to say that Jazz is by far a better "invention" from Lousiana. It's the original American art form.

No - We invented the smoothie.
Original daquiris were not frozen - they were made with rum, fresh lime juice and sugar cane extract or symple syrup. They were invented in the Caribean.
ETA:
Also - The Hurricane drink was named after the glass it was served in.
