I was a nurse.Had about a dozen experiences that had no explanation other than a ghost, spirit whatever you want to call it.

I was working with my wife(weren’t married at the time) and she experienced it also.

Same age my kid says he died when he was 16. Couldn't get more details out of him. He just said it randomly and out of nowhere. It was creepy as hell.

why is this kid so special compared to the other aforementioned 99.9%?

I don't think the kid was special. I believe young kids have a closeness with the spiritual side of existence becuase they just came from God. As the kids age, the veil between the spiritual world and the physical world gets thicker and harder to communicate thru. Inversely, based on my own experiences when someone gets closer to death that veil get diminished and communication to the spiritual flows again.

My son when he was young described some experiences like the OP wrote about. I think if you ask parents a lot have had similar experiences with toddler aged children.

Because of my job, I have been around a good bit of death. And I have heard numerous stories about spiritual communication that has taken place as people near the end of their life. I even witnessed it happen to my father in law in the weeks leading up to his death. (untreatable lung cancer) We had in depth discussion about the spiritual things he was experiencing.

Essentially it seems to me if you just came from God or are about to go back to God, something deep within the spiritual side of our existence opens up.

Coincidence my friend. How many other unfortunate kids had their grandfather die, their parents not tell them, and the kid DIDN’T have some random thought of the old man? I’m willing to bet upwards of 99.9%.

Not sure how much time you've spent around young kids since you entered adulthood, but the stories described in this thread aren't all that unusual. Think about all the weird or unexpected things that little kids say....most of the time, grown-ups tell them it was just their imagination and to forget about it. Most of the time, the kids do as they get older.

There's so much weird stuff that we can't explain. This seems to be so commonplace, but no one really talks about it. There was a documentary on a kid who had a previous life as a WWII vet, and knew people and where planes had crashed.

Y'all are some gullible rubes.

Yeah, that's a great place to get some rational thought about about out of the ordinary events.

When my son was around three years of age, he saw my grandmother who had passed away when he was less than a year old. She was standing by her rose garden.

We have some unsettled people in this thread whose world view and foundation of reality will shatter should they experience the supernatural.

This is a good thing, he will watch over him. What’s the problem? Unless the parents are going to try to conjure up a demon or something what’s is the problem

bullshite. Had one yank me out of bed at 3 am. Turned the lamp on and there was a black shadow there for two seconds and vanished. And no I was not drunk. Just pissed because I had to go to work in a couple of hours.

Nope. I was half awake sleeping on my stomach. Something grabbed my ankle and pulled me sideways. It's upstairs and something tried pushing my daughter down the stairs.

You thought you were awake. Sleep state misperception is not uncommon.

Get better friends.

And just because their skin color is darker, doesn’t mean you can call them shadows.

I guess you studied the subject. Iam a very light sleeper. I never fell out of bed. My foot was hanging off but my body was two feet away. I didn't roll out of bed. I was yanked hard. I thought somebody was messing with me. This thing was crouching down on one knee. Then just poof was gone. Iam not one to get scared of spooky movies. Like I said, was pissed not scared.

There are all manner of sleep wake disorders but your mind is made up that it was a ghost. Ok.
