Belly Button question

Help settle an argument with the wife.
I hate it when someone pokes me in the belly button. I get an uncomfortable feeling in my groin area. I imagine this is what it would feel like to get plucked in a nut. I feel like there are some kind of nerves that connect somehow, someway.
My wife says negative.
So the question is, do you have nerves that connect belly button to anything in your junk?

You have never taken a nut shot before?

Can we get a picture of your belly button and your wife? Needed to correctly answer.

I've taken a nut shot, but I couldn't compare a nut shot to getting poked in the belly button.
It's uncomfortable, but not as much as a hard nut shot, which I why I said plucked in a nut.

The better question is how many times or people are walking around poking you in the belly button?
Seems odd.

My kids think it's funny that I have such hate for it.
So they continue to do it.

I've wondered about this, too. It does feel as though some nerves are being pressed.

I have no idea what you are talking about.

There is a ligament that runs fom your umbilical to groin that is left over from when you were a fetus. It can feel like uncomfortable pulling sensation. Normal. However, this pain can also signify other things like an umbilical hernia, appendicitis, bowel infection, etc. it is likely the ligament pulling but should check with Dr to rule out more serious possibilities.

Maybe they think you look like the pillsbury doughboy.

There are cutaneous nerves in that area as there are over your entire body.

So, I assume that means they connect?
Full disclosure that I'm not a medical person at all, but I thought when you were an embryo, your balls were basically in your stomach, so there had to be nerves connecting stuff in that region. I really don't know though.

I used to have that issue when I poked myself in the belly button. I did that because of this odd little bulge there...it was an innie, but became an outie. It was an umbilical hernia. If it bothers you, you should ask your doctor to take a look at it.

Edit: How the hell do you spell telltale?
