Has anyone on TD purchased one since the disagreement/debate started last week?

Yes.

Like anything else... I like to have a piece of history.

I am sure that flea markets in the south will have plenty. This probably hurts China more than anyone since that's where the majority of it is made....

I'm hedging my bets on Aunt Jemima being deemed offensive next so I dumped my life savings into the Aunt Jemima collectible market. Time for the big bucks to start rollin' in.

I assume Amazon will give away the profits from those sales

Poor investment. Just find all the confederate flags you can find and sell them on the "black" market

I told a friend a couple days ago that we should open a website to sell them. I don't want to fly them and think they should probably come off government buildings, but business is business.

I plan on creating an African American market for them by buying them in bulk and selling them ebay.

It's amazing what lengths companies as ubiquitous as Amazon and Ebay will go to seem PC. They actually don't give a shite, but have to do these asinine things so that they don't get their business taken away from them by an issue that will not be talked about two weeks from now.

This country is like an abused wife telling her kids "everything is ok" and "go watch some cartoons". All the while dad is beating mom and we just turn up the sound to distract ourselves with something meaningless.

I still have my dad's old confederate flag from when he played "confederates and yankees" as a kid. No need to buy another.

The media is going to love it when some people start riding around in trucks with them.

Yesterday eBay had sold hundreds.

Glad I got mine along with an lsu confederate flag years ago.

I bet there will be a ton on game day if they go to SC this year.

The problem is that a very small vocal minority creates a huge uproar and threatens companies like this by saying they'll lose billions in revenue if they don't do the "right" thing. Unfortunately, big companies don't tell these retards to frick off.

You think Amazon would really see a significant drop in revenue if they didn't stop selling these flags? I don't think so.

This reminds me of the NFL having to deal with the domestic violence issues the way they did because they feared loss of revenue and viewership. The average fan would not stop watching football because the NFL didn't ban Adrian Peterson for life. The ones the would stop watching over such nonsense probably were casual fans at best anyway.

There was a guy that drove around my neighborhood when i was a teenager in an old beat up ford truck with two large confederate battle flags flying from the back. On the tailgate where it said FORD, he had painted in "fricking Ornery Redneck Dude."

It was pretty strange because I grew up in fairly affluent neighborhood. I heard that he apparently lived out of that truck. I think at some point the truck broke down on him, and he just slept in it parked by the levee.

All we need is flag control and background checks. Amazon shouldn't stop selling them.
