I'm looking for a Baton Rouge volleyball tournament team my freshman aged daughter can try out for. Any parent recommendations?

Laguna Beach. It's beach volleyball though.

Call Lee Feinswog. He owns the VBR club. (www.volleyballbr.net). It's very expensive, but many players get D1 scholarships.

She may play over the summer at Laguna. Was looking into a tournament team for her.

Vbr is the gold standard or has been the last several years. Check out www.volleyballbr.net but tournament ball ends second week of June I believe

You should get her into sand over the summer... tremendous cross work for indoor. Also get her into camps if she isn't already playing. LSU puts on a camp for the youngin's that I was thinking of sending my daughter to.

I imagine Fran and her staff probably has plenty of info for you as most of the girls coming in are former club players from around. The actual club season wont start until November and will finish in June with Junior Olympics (J/O's) ... also J/O's are in NOLA this year you may want to take a ride down there and have a peak.

I find it funny that the local sand court in BR is called Laguna Beach as I type this from Laguna Beach

dude she's not going pro and not going to play in the Olympics. Stop trying to re-live your glory years vicariously through your daughter.

If she's "freshman aged", then she's 14 or 15, and some of you guys need help
