I'd hang out there only if they kept the hanging trees. We must remember.

SJW liberals hate the concept of private property.
They think we should all be renters in high density, "diverse" areas.
I'm sure she'll want the developer to sprinkle some section 8 in there to make it real nice.

WAIT, I thought liberals didn't like history!! They don't want the confederate monuments taken down, but now the crazies have a problem turning a plantation home into something modern? I'm so confused. Some history good, some history bad. These people are fricking brainless morons.

Seems like the developer would try to preserve some or all of the oaks. That's what I would do.

What percentage of slave owners hanged slaves? I'd imagine that number would be pretty low.

I sure will. Lot 47, but she not invited.

The SJW in question is doing this to overcompensate for her "incident"

So if someone buys land for housing development, it should be wrong because, at some point in history, it might have been where slaves were buried? What if it was once an indian burial ground? My grandpa use to own land he turned into a trailer park. The land was supposedly once an Indian burial ground, was it wrong for him to turn it into a mobile home park?

I'm not familiar with that incident. What are you referring to?

Does she actually have real information that there is a burial ground on the Goodwood site or is she pissed because gated, high end housing is going up on such a pretty piece of land?
The original goodwood plantation land ran all the way almost to the river in one direction and the Amite in the other. Seriously doubt they buried people in the area near the actual house that is being developed now.
Not to mention that that's private land. If they wanted to turn the entire thing into a parking lot they could.
fricking hate this sjw bullshite that has taken over BR.
