quote: Why no Sprint?!
Where to begin... Next to no service in my house, takes days to send media messages, calls drop daily, text messages get stuck in sending purgatory and people end up getting pissed at me, and I'm the only white guy I know on Sprint. It's the worst.
ETA: And don't say it's just my phone because this has been the case on almost 5 phones.

My Sister lives on Toledo Bend. She switched to Verizon and has been happy with it. AT&T's signal on the north end of the lake where she lives in virtually non-existent. I live in B. R. so it usually works for me.

That has nothing to do with iPhone vs lumia. More likely you had an iPhone of a generation before the 5... Which means no LTE. Now that you can connect to LTE you can utilize that network. I was at the Alabama game this year sending pictures texts and videos from the stadium over ATT LTE with my iPhone.
