He"ll be spending some time in Angola. He basically said frick you to the last judge that saw his case. He could get 15 years of hard labor according to the LA statutes.

Cops randomly pulling people over is the trend I see here.

18 people getting popped, still is a feat. Must've been a check point going on.

If only we had stricter drinking and driving control laws this never would have happened.

Who wants to bet this dude had proper DL, ins and registration.

Be the same if my 13 yr old nephew stole my keys and went joy riding.

But yet I have all of it which costs money all the while this pos rides around drunk.

And I got criticized for daring to say DWI laws were more about money than public safety in the thread last week.

It's funny that driving the speed limit, perfectly between the lines, with your headlights on and music down, can be thought of as reckless operation by cops (mainly the DWI squad who hunts people).

I think MADD has such a big hand in it, they basically nag the top brass into randomly pulling people over, and making it a game to see who can stick the most people in jail in one night. Hell, they even give awards and money to each year's winners. If they had their way, alcohol would be illegal, and everyone would have to walk everywhere

60,000 - I believe he has been convicted of 3 of them so far.

Who would criticize that? It's like seeing those checkpoints on Ben Hur in BR. If they've made it that far, then they aren't much if a threat anymore. However, they are the type of people who can pay for it to go away. The current system is a money racket.
