The post about Tony’s got me thinking of places that are well known that I never set foot in during my time in BR. Fleur De Lis is on the list but I’m sure there are a couple other places I’m not thinking of. Never did go to any of the bars just north of campus except for The Varsity & Chimes either.

Never been to Gino's, Maison Lacour, Bella Noche, or City Hall and I have lived in BR for almost 30 years.

That was a big deal for like a second. Is it even open anymore?

On campus for 4 years, and a season ticket holder ever since.

Never went to Chimes or Varsity. Always preferred to tailgate or walk around campus.

I've been wanting to see the Triple S since 2016. I don't think I've ever seen it either.

I think it is still doing well. I see people post about it frequently.

I didn't go to the observation deck of the State Capitol Building until my 5th or 6th year in Baton Rouge.

I don't like heights.

I've only been to Tony's once. It's awesome. But I keep forgetting that it exists. It not only exists, but it thrives.

I guess you needed to have gone once. We went and didn't like the food or the service. It's a business that I suspect closed down for a very good reason.

I don't think you are missing anything.

I’ve never been to Fred’s. By the time I turned 21 I stopped going to Tigerland.

Maison Lacour,

I've gone, but it was so long ago that I can't remember if I liked it or not. Maybe I should try it again?

When you Google Street View Maison Lacour, this guy is out front.

I never realized it was on N Harrell's Ferry. That entire road is shite.

Wife and I went for Valentine’s Day. It wasn’t bad at all but the atmosphere was way too much for our personalities. We’re not party people at all and hardly drink so the party atmosphere was cool but not really our thing. Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad I went because the food was good but I’ve had way better at Ruth’s Chris and Flemings so I thought we paid more for the atmosphere than anything else. It was super dark and pretty dark, too. Never felt unsafe at all since everyone was just there to have a good time but there was that aspect and I’m positive that eventually, the place will close or be a hub for police activity.

Sadly, I only went twice before it burned down.
