In Austin, it is 18 or older or accompanied by a parent, and they sometimes have more specific age restrictions for certain movies.

You also cannot arrive after the movie starts. They won't let you in.

I haven't been to a theater in ages because of people like that. I could really like this.

Alamo Drafthouses are great. They even have baby day for parents with babies.

We have had a kickass place like this in N.O. For 7 years or so now and it's awesome. Reserved leather seats, no one under 18, food and adult drinks, rules, etc. No punks

Canal Place is nice but its expensive and parking isn't free

College at Perkins is an awesome location. Makes it feel more like a bar/restaurant that has movies.

Having been to the one in spring, I can't wait. That was the best moviegoing experience I've ever had.

There is a level between having a beer and being drunk.

My dad gave the place a shot last winter when it was too cold, foggy, and rainy to leave downtown he was there for a conference) and decided to watch "Django Unchained" there. He said that the entire experience was outstanding. I hope I'll be able to convince my SO to do more than a few dinner dates at this new place.
