Baths (jacuzzi baths, to be more specific) for relaxation and mind meditation.

Showers for a quick cleansing.

I cherish both.

Baths are for relaxing. Showers for hygiene. People who take baths for hygiene are trashy

Showers.

Rarely ever take a bath. Don't enjoy "relaxing" in a tub. If it's a large spa, maybe. But not your normal in house jacuzzi tub.

I love a bath to relax, but I gotta rinse off with a quick 5 minute shower at the end or I feel gross.

I feel dirtier getting out of a bath or jacuzzi than I do going in. You're laying in s pool of your own filth.

Or maybe they grew up in a older home that didn't have a shower....just a bathtub

:raiseshand:

If I had a nicer/bigger tub in my house I would take baths more.

When I would take baths at my grandparents I would always wash, drain the tub then fill it up with water again and wash again.

My home growing up in NBR. Tiny, tiny 3 bedroom/1 bathroom house. 6 of us to share one tiny bathroom that didn't have a shower. I can remember getting excited about spending the night at friend's houses growing up cause I could take a shower there

I grew up in a 150 year old farm house. We didn't have shower. We (the kids) celebrated and thought we were rich when dad installed a handheld shower head.

It was like we won the lottery.

I spent what seems like hours in cold water enjoying the new shower head. A couple of years later we upgraded to hot water.

Now that was a treat!

See at least you had a shower head.

Having to share a bathroom with that many people....now I have to have my own bathroom. Unless we ever move into a house with a huge master bathroom....the bathroom in the bedroom is mine. Husband can have the other one

Our family of five had to share one small bathroom. That meant you'd be taking a bath while someone else was taking a shite. Just a thin curtain between your bath and the other person's shite.

Needless to say we are a very close and brutally honest family.
