The best shoe shine guy is Mick ("The Greatest", as is printed on his leather apron) at Macdonald's. Barber Shop. But the shop closed and Mick had to cut back due to health issues. Still shines for a few customers out of his house though.

there is a good spot in the oil center in the strip next to popeye's. Don't go to the first guy, but the second and third are great.

Yes, call for an appointment. You'd be lucky if they could work you in same day. See any of them.
