I am looking for opinions, or experiences since a lot of you probably didn't make the decision.

Did your baby boy wear a gown or pants/shirt for christening? Will be approximately 3-4 months of age. I am talking about the white outfits for both that are specifically for this.

Good start, this is exactly how Bruce Jenner began his quest.

All babies in our family and extended family wore a gown I made about 38 years ago, for christening.

Our families gown is 95 years old has been through 4 generations, men and women. Grand grandfather was baptized in it and both my girls have/will wear it If I had a boy, he would too without question.

I have no problem with him wearing a gown for it. If that's what's normal, as i understand it is common for them to be shared amongst family/siblings. Are there unisex ones or "more" unisex ones, if not?

I figure the kid just wears whatever the mom puts on it. That's what moms do, right?

The wife mentioned it and I took a quick Google to it. After looking at them for a second, I needed a little confirmation.

No gown or hand down for my son so I went with a very crisp fancy white one piece short outfit which had no lace very boyish but wrapped in a white crochet blanket. He was one month old so it was hard to find anything to fit him
