Band mom steals $46K from booster club (with WYHI)

Not much to look at but she's self motivated and has proven earning potential.

Meyer, 38, allegedly stole about $46,000 from the club’s three accounts over a two-year period, Alvarado Police Chief Brad Anderson said.
The president and vice president of the booster club contacted Alvarado police on April 28 in reference to the theft, which they believed at the time totalled about $36,000.
The club’s vice president became aware of the discrepancies after one of the accounts held by the club at a local bank came up overdrawn.

Ain't nobody got time for dual control accounting in groups like this. You're lucky if you can get a handful of people to show up for a bake sale, much less two people willing to verify each other's bookkeeping.

For some reason I get the feeling she was involved in her church and thought she was doing no wrong with anything and looked down upon anyone who was caught robbing a convenience store.

That's a 100% given with people like this.
Somehow in their tiny arse brains, they somehow think that religion and being a minority gives them their right to steal.
I can't figure it out, but I've seen it play out several times on small scale situations locally.

The more I think about it, the more certain I am about her religiousness. She looks to be just the weight of the typical middle aged Baptist woman that has had way too many after church all you can eat Sunday buffets down at the Golden Corral.
