What is something you always hear at home or at work?
Mine is a non stop snoring bulldog.

Pissed off toddler sometimes.
Patter of dog’s feet against the hardwood.

I live a block off perkins near city park... for me it's sirens and trains. Pretty much constantly. I don't even notice it anymore.

Lawn crew that begins cranking up their mowers and blowers to full power as soon as I begin an important call.

If it gets quiet enough at work, I notice a high pitch ring that comes from all the electronics.
There are fewer and fewer places on earth where you can find complete silence in nature.

Both new and old computers can experience what's called “coil whine,” which is a high-pitched noise that comes from the computer. It's easy to jump to the conclusion that the noise is a sign of major computer failure or that something is broken, loose, or about to explode. Fortunately, coil whine is normal behavior.

I have a railroad track a half mile from me. Sometimes I hear them and sometimes not. Sometimes I can tell a train is passing because my grandfather clock chimes will make sounds because of vibration.

My fish tank in my office.
At home it's usually my son dribbling a basketball.

The bound-up demon behind the medicine cabinet is irritating as hell.

I live between the railroad that runs parallel to Perkins and the railroad that runs parallel to Nicholson, so I hear trains all the damn time. I've lived close to each one of those two everywhere I've lived, and now I'm between them both.
I also hear sirens constantly. I lay in bed trying to decipher where in town they're coming from sometimes.

I have an Alexa at my office and I usually listen to music.. It's usually a good mix of Death metal, Mozart and 80's power ballads

The sweet sounds of BTR traffic passing by outside

When I work from home I need something on in the background. If it's not a podcast or audio book, it is DJ trashy or DJ johnny cage.

I WFH in our Florida room at the back of our house. It has a porch and many wind chimes. On breezy days my coworkers think I'm in a cathedral.
