I just left the walmart in Kenner and saw several people that I would think would be capable of such a horrible act.

People are disgusting.

Baby will be better off now at least.

Hopefully the parents die soon in a murder suicide

Baby is better off now than with shitty parents in New Roads. Hopefully the parents will OD and do society a favor.

I'm grateful it was a warm day, and the baby was found unharmed.

It makes you wonder about the ones that aren't discovered.

If they wanted it to live why wouldn't they bring it to a fire station?

If they didn't want it to live why did they put it inside a Walmart?

ETA: Just saw it was born in the bathroom. How fricked up is your life that you have a baby in Walmart and leave it there.

As sad as it sounds, that babies life will be exponentially better if her mother is never discovered and she is adopted.. praying that no long term health issues are discovered because of this

Think of the babies that aren't found. That is probably among things I would never want to know the stats of.

Fire station is only a few blocks away. Hospital is one block. The baby's welfare was obviously not the concern of the mother.

Damn shame.

What's even crazier is the mother could have legally had that baby killed several months ago.

How do you have a baby in a bathroom and not have someone alert management?
