everyone that knows about it should feel for them, but what are we gonna do other than that? might as well go on to the next beer...

Come on, you people. The woman knew who the daddy was. And it is 99% probable that the daddy knew she was having said baby.

La'El knows whether the kid was his or not. The fact that he has been in hiding suggests to me several different scenarios, none of them good for him.

Also, I was surprised that Mascona would spend so much time agonizing over the draft status of La'el Collins and whether or not his agent screwed up, without really mentioning the baby that was in the NICU. To me that was the most important part.

Actually, I heard Moscona talk about the baby several times, but at the end of the day, he runs a sports show.

Pretty sure the hospital only allows family to visit - not possible/maybe family.

Plus if media reports are to be believed there were many candidate dads and he was glad to not be part of that mess.

There's certainly a limit to what I feel about all the tragedy in the world that happens on a daily basis that I either don't know about or can't do anything about. It's certainly a lot more distant than any personal tragedy that has or will happen in my life. I do still feel something for it.

agreed
what I feel is that I wish it hadn't happened
I also wish the earthquake hadn't happened

but I would be lying if I said it affected me in any way
there's plenty that happens that does affect me to worry about

I think that's probably fair enough. This really becomes more of a philosophical question anyway.

No, lsu fan who cannot see through his purple and gold glasses. If he did not at least make an effort to see the kid i think he is horrible whether its his kid or not. none of this would even be happening though if there wasn't a good chance the kid is his.

What?

If he knew he never slept with her, why would he go see the baby?

There's a lot of ifs in there.

I hate the situation all around but we really know very little about the situation other than its yet another senseless murder.

Correct. I can only hope that he legitimately didn't think the kid was his. If that's the case then he really got screwed since that would erase motive.

I waa just thinking about the real victim here - the baby. The whole situation is fricked up and likely just another random senseless murder. I just know that if I thought it might bey kid I would be begging to see him.

I've had friends of the family visit my kid in the NICU, btw.

Or you know, the person that was executed.

Wait.. if indeed Collins were the father then he would Def be a murder suspect. You think any hospital would let him within 100 yards of the baby?

I understand your indignation and concern, but instead of speculating hate, let it play out. This story is horribly tragic. You have no idea who the villain is.

How do you know he didn't ask for this already.

Kind of like the police expedited his interview to next week???

Word on Collins is bad. How do you get worse than Hernandez?
