We heard that there was a company (Target Temp) out of Houma that wanted to help get peoples AC working in the areas affected by the flood for free. We thought it was too good to be true, or that they would be swamped and wouldn't be able to make it out any time soon, but we called anyway. We were working in the house today (which got about 3.5 ft of water in it) and they stopped by. Not only did they take a look at our AC, they then went to our neighbors on either side as well. They said they just knew what it was like after Katrina, and they wanted to do their part. So, if anyone near the Houma area ever needs AC work, we HIGHLY recommend them, and thank them for their kindness in this hard time!

Check them out on Facebook! (Target Temp, LLC)

pretty damn nice of them...at a time when most contractors are out to make a killing, they are losing money by not charging people.

You know what, I don't even care. They got our AC working and didn't charge a dime. It could have been for the most selfish reasons ever, but working in 74 degrees is a lot better than working in 97+ degrees.

Well now I feel dumb. I literally typed in Awesome AC and Awesome Air. I'll go sit in a corner now.

Those names are available for new HVAC companies though. Hopefully that helps someone.

1. If you look at my post history, you'll see I've asked for AC advice a few times. If this was my company, why would I have had to ask for recommendations on a company to use??

2. Once, again look at my post history. Not from Houma.

3. I've also mentioned that I'm a teacher. So there's that.

Yes, I am persistent.

Saw some of their trucks out today... I think it was Central. Could've been Denham... it all looks the same right now.

Damn. You really committed to the long con. I wouldn't be surprised if you were behind the flood
