Range??

It would depend on years of experience to determine the teacher salary and then usually a percentage is added for a coaching stipend.

Here is a link to Zachary's salary schedule. I think they are the highest paying district in the state.

Starting salary between 35-37k, plus coaching supplement of 3-10k, depending on asst. or head coach status. Head coach with a master's and 5 years experience can make 40-50k or a little more. A well-off public school may have a head coach making 60-80k, but that's if they're winners. This is typical on the MS Gulf Coast. Don't expect to have much of a life, though, outside of school if your in the latter group.

38k to teach
10k to coach

should make about 48 at a public school.

Cool chart, I figured they made a little more than that. Hat off to them...

I know one at a private school who probably makes on the low end but he also does a bunch of baseball camps in the year that he makes money off of. This dude also does travel ball with several age groups that he gets paid for as well. So he makes good money but just has do all the other stuff as well.

Public more than private isn't always the case. I know some of the LA Private schools pay more than their public school counterparts.

Also factors that determine this are:

Master's Degree?
Years Experience?
Head or Assistant?
Location?

All in all...I'd say the AVERAGE for this would be around 40 with some as little as 35 and others as high as 65 or 70 depending on years, degree level, and head coaching experience in Louisiana.

Can't say for other states.
