Currently with USAA but im already paying $1100 for 6 month premium and i've never been in an accident or gotten a ticket. Just got an email saying the next 6 month period my premium will go up $150 to $1250. I find this ridiculous.

I looked into Geico, for all the same coverages I could get a 6 month premium at $890. How quickly will they raise this? Will it be just as high as USAA eventually?

Geico has never raised my rates (that I recall). I switched from USAA as well. No brainer.

I just saved 15% or more by switching to Geico.

Not a joke.. I shopped around for a while and Geico was the cheapest for me by about $220 for 6 month coverage

It will go up a little in 6 months and then a lot after a year. They figure you are not paying attention by then.

I'm currently with USAA as well and pay about $150/month (with an at fault accident in 2013) for auto & renters insurance.

We just got our auto renewal from Liberty Mutual a few weeks ago and it went up over 15% without any claims or tickets. I called them and their reasoning for it increasing so much is due to the increasing costs of healthcare and auto repair.

USAA.

100/300/100 coverage with UMI. $1K deductibles. Annually, I pay less than $1300.00 for two vehicles.

My loyalty to State Farm is rock solid.

They may not be the cheapest, but they fought & won 2 arbitration cases on my behalf where my car was hit from behind by blatant liars after the accidents occurred.

Progressive. By far the best car insurance company I've ever dealt with.

I pay $65 per month ($390 for 6 months), full coverage, with State Farm.

I'm enrolled in their "Drive Safe" program where you put a little Bluetooth beacon in your car and it tracks your driving. The less you drive and the safer you drive, the bigger your discount is. I don't put many miles on my car because I live just a few minutes from work.

No full coverage.

I have a ton of those safety deductions and my family has been with this agent for 30+ years.

Edit: I also have what Prime Time has.
