Mexicans love Metallica too. Heard it a ton blaring from cars in Mexico City.

It's kind of a world-wide thing.

Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets, and …And Justice For All is some of the best music ever made. Music lovers love Metallica.

It was a warm up.

But LSU did not let us do the lighting effects and cut the show short.

Ole Miss game was the full show.

Has Lars filed a lawsuit for infringement yet?

Yeah, they don't have over $1 billion collective net worth because of white trash and Mexicans.

Auburn’s band is good because their director was in LSU’s band when it was good. LSU’s made a few joke hires in a row and have really fallen off.

Metallica has always been very generous with letting people use their music. Don’t let the Napster thing cloud your perception. That was its own thing. Interestingly, James has said that many musicians have thanked them for doing what they did while not having the guts to put their own necks out there.

Lars was right. Artists deserve to get paid for their work. What gives you the right to just take it? Most bands aren’t as rich as Metallica and their music puts food on the table. And they don’t have the platform to stand up for themselves so Lars did it for them.

Metallica is actually doing a marching band competition for all levels from high school to college. That’s why Auburn is doing it. Plus, it’s cool as frick!

At LSU, we don't have the LED lights like Jordan-Hare and didn't get to see the performance there. The sound from the Auburn band doing the Metallica show was still very very good and I enjoyed it. Wish we could have had the same experience, but it would have embarrassed our School of Music folks, but it might have shown the fans and alumni how far our band has fallen.

What I find intriguing is how many folks are playing with their phones. Look at the lights in the fans hands. Watch the show. Get your phone out of your face.

James moved from CA and bought a bunch of land in rural CO. He is no fan of the liberal bullshite. Same with Post Malone.
