ATT wireless vs Verizon vs Sprint

In Baton Rouge
seem that my ATT bill is way more than it should be with 5 phones and 2 tablets;
Is Sprint a reasonable alternative? Is Verizon less expensive than ATT?
Been a long time ATT customer and really don't want to switch but my bills are outrageous and even have some data overage charges occasionally.

I haven't had a wireless bill in 2 years. Work pays for it.
T-Mobile is the best I find in DC metro. Verizon is decent in BR area. ATT about even.
Sprint is garbage.

Verizon is the most expensive, but their coverage is best.

Verizon has the best coverage, and Ive never had an issue with customer service...
Might cost a few more bucks but its worth it

Go with Verizon. They have some good phone deals going on til the end of the month, and with the new plan, you get 2 GB bonus data per new line.
I have two lines/ 12 GB shared with rollover for $105 after taxes and fees.
Coverage is unbeatable. I can get 4G in the middle of the lake.

I have the Sprints.
If I had to rank them, based upon personal use or people that I know and trust:
1. Verizon
2a. AT&T
2b. Sprint
4. T-Mobile
Sprint, and I have been a customer for 8 years, has improved considerably over the years in the Baton Rouge area. Yes, there past reputation is well-deserved, but in terms of voice calls, I have no issues. Occasionally, I'll pick up a 3G signal inside a large building or have a "slower" internet connection than a customer with Verizon, but it's not enough to make me want to consider switching, especially when cost is factored in.
AT&T, is simply garbage. Dropped calls, network busy (LSU, Great Flood), outages and poor customer service (credit on 3rd month after Great Flood), etc. Not worth it to me.
Verizon is the best, but they're very proud of their pricing.
T-Mobile offers "Binge On" but unfortunately their service is very limited in the Prairieville area (not-existent in some parts).
With Sprint, I pay $100.00 per month for 2 lines. Unlimited everything. No data caps. And I have no contract.

I had Sprint 10 years ago in BR because my brother was an empolyee and my bill was stupid cheap.
Their network sucked and customer service was worse.
I have been with Verizon ever since and have zero complaints. LSU and flood coverage were excellent

Does T-Mobil or Sprint allow you to "audit" their service to see if the coverage is acceptable in the area you live in?

Each should have a trial period of approximately 14 days or just less.
You simply pay for the days that you use the service activated. If you don't like it, return it and look elsewhere.

I had Sprint three years ago and it sucked. Now I have ATT but it's $245 a month for four lines, with one of those lines being an emergency flip phone for the kids when they go to sleep overs.
ALl of our phones are S5s as well, so due for upgrade. I wanted the Note, but the recall ruined that plan.

T mobile coverage sucks outside of metro areas. Used to have ATT but their customer service sucks.
Now have Verizon since August. Have been pleased

Prefer AT&T. Their customer service is leaps and bounds better than what I had when I was with Verizon. Also, I bundle my internet and TV with my phone so it's quite economical.

Switched to Verizon after the flood, our bill is half of what is was with att and the service is better

Spur, I have Verizon (from AT&T) for about six years. I've been as happy as I think I could be with all facets of the relationship. We've (business plan) got about 30 phones and about 8 tablets, the bill is almost exactly the same as when we started with them.
Their international plans are cheap and wonderful as well.
Mrs. Füt has AT&T and is OK with the coverage.
Happy Christmas to you & the Misses!

Well what are they?
ETA: 5 phones and 2 tablets on a 25GB mobile share plan with ATT is $250/month ($110 for the plan and $20 per line). If you have WiFi at home, that amount of data should be enough, but when you step up to the 30GB or 40GB plans it gets pretty pricey.
Many employers offer plan discounts with ATT, so check and see if you're eligible for a 16% discount on the plan itself, which saves ~$17.

We've had Verizon for a long time. Never had a problem with service.
We live in Gonzales, wife's company pays for a sprint phone for her. almost no service at all in our area.
