We switched from Cox to Uverse. You have way more channels as well as local. Go to there website and you can pull up their channel listings.

Uverse has great internet. Very very consistent speeds and almost never goes out. Their customer service is terrible, though (not that Time Warner is any better). I don't know about TV service since I've never had it.

I have U-Verse with the highest speed internet they offer and have zero complaints. They also have wireless boxes for secondary tv's which is awesome b/c you can move tv's around pretty easily.

Thanks, I just went and looked. It is too good to be true. U-Verse offering fast internet, Amazon Prime, cable. I even saw a $250 gift card somewhere but can't find that now. Is that if you get a bigger/different package?

Anyway. I want to know what happens after 6 months/ a year, down the road? Does your bill suddenly go to high three figures? Do you just call and get another "promo" like TWC and others? Are you stuck with a high bill?

IOW: What's the catch, looks way too good to be true...

You can always deselect thr movie channels so the bill won't go up. Or you can reenroll.

That wasn't my beef. Mine was that it never worked and their equipment was always used crap. The service constantly went out. I switched to cable and I'm paying less and getting more.

I had it in BR for an entire year. It never ran slow and it never went out, for an entire year. Cox went down 3 times in the first month of having it

Yeah, TWC customer service sucks. Calling India to get no where fast. But TWC does have local stores that will resolve about anything...

Experiences will differ. My Internet speed is much faster now. U-Verse is an overpriced, average at best product. Just like the rest of AT&T's services/products.

I know these other posters have local- is it Cox? They have never had TWC. I don't think you can get faster internet with anyone but TWC. So are they comparing Cox and UVerse looks good?

I'm sure cable customer service sucks. Fwiw, the people at AT&T customer service were always nice. But I didn't like having to call them every weekend for them to say they're super duper sorry and that they will send me hugs and lollipops for my troubles. At some point, competence matters more than customer service.
