As we move closer to Tailgating Season, let's talk about generators...

In particular, can someone talk me out of procuring this Kipor 3K Watt Generator? From what I've read, their build quality and noise-level is 2nd only to Honda, though other manufacturers are catching up with regards to the former.
We're looking for something to help us in a weather event, but we're also looking for something to comfortably handle tailgate season without blasting the folks we're tailgating around.
Any thoughts on the model I linked? If not, what do you run your tailgate or survive during a Hurricane with? Why?

No reviews, no thanks. If you want a quiet one, get the tried and true Honda or Yamaha

I've heard Honda is by far the best. It actually pushes the wattage it claims unlike some brands.

That's one thing that makes me apprehensive. But Kipor is a very well-respected name in the industry. They were huge in Asia before coming over here.
Their run-quiet tech is allegedly 2nd only to Honda's.

These are extremely quiet and will run your whole house for a week on a tank of fuel.

To continue beating the horse, get a Honda.
We've been having the same one since they came out. Oil changes and filter cleanings before every football season and she continues to run like a Kenyan.
