They say there is not enough for a museum money wise. Of all the wasted funds we pour through and we can't make this happen. What a cool place that would be

The entire collection could be made accessible to the public, if the funds for a museum could be raised.

The Army Historical Foundation is in charge of raising the funds for the museum.

However, there are major fundraising hurdles to jump before the museum can be built. The foundation’s president recently told the Washington Post that it has raised $76 million of the $175 million required for the museum and predicts the museum could open in 2018.

this is such a bunch of bullshite. the federal government pisses away $175 million on a weekly basis. many other reason why a museum of this nature has not been created. money is not the reason.
