We used to light cigarettes and flip the tabs down into an empty coke can. Put the butt through the tab.

If even a little windy, you could smoke with no one the wiser.

The only time I ever got caught, I did have to exhale the smoke, right into a coach's face.

I sprinted away

But teachers suck...amirite? No child left behind rules the school my friends. Smoking must be his exceptionality therefore, technically, no discipline is allowed.

How old are you? I graduated in 09. I'm sure shock and dropped jaws would be the initial reaction but I can easily see the laughter breaking out, even if it's just nervous laugher. All it takes is one kid and the rest would follow, teenagers are the biggest sheeple of all.

Just saying, the fact that they're laughing isn't what makes only a few of these kids have promising futures.

im 28. Graduated HS on '06

i guess the students at my school had respect for our teachers. If an arrant paper air plane accidentally hit the teacher that may draw some "nervous laughs" as you so kindly put it.

but a student lighting a cigar in class and walking up to the teacher and blowing smoke in their face isn't amusing to civilized teenagers.
