Big deal. Now, I he would've turned him around and shoved it up his arse...that'd been something.

As the other kids giggle, the teacher knew only a couple of students in the glass had a promising future.

That was just his way of expressing himself and the knowledge that intolerant teacher imparted unto him. Nobody ever sees the blowing of smoke into one's face for what it truly is. Also, Trump.

I went to a HS in the suburbs that was 90% white, most kids go to a a 4 year university, and very few don't go on to some sort of higher education.... If that happened in one of the classes there I'm sure most kids would have laughed too. How do you expect a room full of teenagers to react to another teenager doing something stupid like that?

that is interesting. My school was very similar in demographics but i can't imagine any of my fellow classmates laughing at that action. more like stunned jaws dropped thinking " well this is the last day we will ever see this kid...'cause he goneeeee".

We really need to go back to the days of dueling. Much more respect was given back then.

How old are you? I graduated in 09. I'm sure shock and dropped jaws would be the initial reaction but I can easily see the laughter breaking out, even if it's just nervous laugher. All it takes is one kid and the rest would follow, teenagers are the biggest sheeple of all.

Just saying, the fact that they're laughing isn't what makes only a few of these kids have promising futures.

The good news is that kid would learn a very valuable life lesson at a young age which would help him in his future interactions with adults. The bad news is I'd be on the evening news and would never be a teacher again.

I graduated in '09 and the reaction wouldn't have been laughter. It would have been complete disbelief and the sweeping "he's so fricked" realization that sweeps over the class.

I am afraid they think it something else about the kids that make most of them have a hopeless future. There are already a few comments here of the typical kind. Ya know.
