I just turned 36 and I have never cared before but all of the sudden I want to know what happened.

The OT seems like a good place to answer my questions

Which on should I ask first mom or dad?

Doesn't matter, you'll get two completely different answers. The truth is somewhere in the middle.

I'm the oldest. Mom married 9 years younger and dad married 14 years younger. Parents are 63, step mom in 49 and step dad is 55.

Yeah. 21 years ago, father had an affair with my mothers best friend (been my step mother ever since). Went from playing over at her house for play dates one week to visiting my father over there the next.

I have no experience in this as my parents have been married over 50 years. I'd ask both if you want to know each viewpoint.

50, 60 year-old men now can easily smash women half their age. Moreso than ever before, especially if they are making a decent living.

Ask your dad.

Obviously there are trashy men too so this isn't always true, but men are the more rational, realistic, and honest gender. In my experience the men try to be civil for the sake of the kids and not bad mouth the the ex wife in from of the kids.

But 100% of the time the women are petty and try to blame the dad and villainize him and talk shite about him in front of the kids. Always trying to brain wash the kids and turn them away from their fathers. shite is sickening. Grown women, even 50 or 60 years old, have a tendency to start acting like emotional children and throw temper tantrums about their ex husbands.

Ask them both "what happens in your marriage to cause y'all to divorce"? My guess is both will tell a slightly different story. Mine are divorced I never asked but hear my Dad was just an a$& probably why he's had so many girlfriends and wives.
