I hate Toshita. My first laptop was one 15 years ago and it sucked. For some reason I tried again a couple of years ago and it also sucked. I went back to HP and I'm pleased.

I've found toshibas to be pretty much bulletproof, only issue is the battery life could be better. I've had 2 lenovos and both fried within 6 months due to overheating issues. Dells have stellar battery life and have cheaper/more readily available accessories.

Been having one for 8 yrs and put it through hell. If it ever does die, I'll get another.

I had one I bought back in 2008 that crapped out after a year. Replaced it with an HP that's made it 7 years.
