Are French Fries and Potato Chips the same thing?

They both come from a potato and are fried in grease, potato chips can be cut thinner than french fries. The only difference is that a french fry can be fluffier and can be less crisp than a potato chip...am I wrong?

Not all potato chips are made from potatoes.

That's true actually. In England, they make them out of fish.

It's true. They call it Fish Are Chips. It's a staple of the English diet.

The thin outside layer of a fry should be crisp so potato chips are essentially thick french fry skins without the catsup. Hope this helps.

My favorite chips are the little crumbles at the bottom of the paper boat.

What sort of savage doesn't eat ketchup (with a k, none of that cheap watery "catsup" shite) on their chips?
