The government. These snacks have zero food value.

The government should ban books and music too.

I liked combining ding dong foil wrappers into baseball size and playing some indoor baseball.

Fat loaded snack cakes aren't covered by the First Amendment.

Why not raisins, oatmeal, fruit, vegetables, etc.?

Try a Bolthouse smoothie.

Since this is the O-T Lounge and not the Food and Drink board I will say that I prefer Ho Hos over Ding Dongs.

The right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. I'm going to eat whatever the frick I want because it's my goddamn life, and I won't tolerate your telling me how to live it. If I want to die at 60 instead of 80 then that's my decision, not the governments. That you think it is the place of the government to tell me how to live and what to eat is goddamn scary. Legislate that Hostess has to put nutritional facts on the box. Educate the population. But if I already know it's bad for me, and I still decide to eat it then don't dare take that twinkie and salt shaker out of my hand, you nosy, control freak busy body.

I'm not a control freak or busy body. We all pay for people who eat that kind of crap, and limiting fat laden snacks is not any great intrusion. I'm not talking about banning meat.

I'd settle for you have to 21 to eat that garbage, which would amount to a ban because most people who eat that stuff and are over 21 do so because they ate that as a child. Fact.

Ding Dongs are great, but they are no where near the piece of heaven they were back in the 70's and 80's when they were still wrapped in foil. I'm pretty sure anyone who is old enough to remember them back then will agree.
