Approx price for an appraisal in EBR area?

Thinking about selling our house and have been told by a realtor, that it's currently worth 20-25 dollars a square foot more than we paid in 2013, but I'm skeptical, and curious if he's right. We Would like to have an idea ok what we will get and if it's worth it to Sell and move. So anyone know the approx price of a real estate appraisal?

If I recall it's around $600 for an appraisal.

I paid $400 last October. I built my home in 2013 at $143 per sq ft. It appraised in October for $165 per sq ft.

We bought at 115, and he thinks we can get 135-140. A house on my street which is about 400sqft bigger went under contract for 136 a ft, but won't know the actual appraisal til they close id imagine. I'm just impatient.

$500-$600? You people are being raped unless you live in Waterfront Sanctuary or the French Quarter.
