Cop is slang for the 18th century British English word "copper", which meant capturer. Also was a reference to their copper buttons on their uniforms.

Just obey the laws and you won't be the one responsible for him having to endanger people while doing his sworn duty, dickhead.

The cop that gave me a ticket for my windows being to dark explained what a safety hazzard it was and how he couldn't see me inside my truck. I think his windows were twice as dark as mine were.

The only cops that I appreciate is the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office. They are the best, most competent, most professional, most accountable and most well run law enforcement organization in the state of Louisiana. To Jeff Wiley and his deputies.

Every other agency can piss off.

Recently got pulled over at 3:15 in the morning doing 52 in a 40. They checked everything they always do and then said have a good fishing trip. I expected to be let go, but you never know.

I got pulled over coming off that stupid bridge in Gulf Breeze (Pensacola) Florida, the speed limit is way low, and the cop let me go with a warning.

Yesterday I was out to sushi with a girl I am dating and a cop called her to tell her that he had found her dog after it snuck out of her backyard. Besides not shooting it he also waited there until we got back with her dog in his car which I thought was very cool!

One time, I was driving 55mph down Burbank and was pulled over by an officer.
He said, "are you aware that you have one headlight that is burned out?"
I said, "yes sir. I actually have the replacement right here on my passenger seat. I had a little trouble getting it in/around past the way the battery is mounted. I actually plan on going home this weekend and having my father help me with it. I've been trying to only drive during daylight in good conditions"
He responded with, "where are you coming from this late (probably close to 2200)?"
And I said, "i just finished playing music at my church over on campus, and I stuck around to study for a bit before driving home."
He sent me away after promising to get it fixed and to quit driving at night until it was. He seemed like a really good officer of the law.

Unless he was in a private vehicle, I am not sure why you were upset by tint on his windows. The law excludes law enforcement agency vehicles, again, for the safety of the officer.

I like the way that police chiefs award themselves four stars. Four Stars? Are you kidding me?
