I liked it on the OT, I could actually notice new information.... Only time it became annoying was when Apple vs Android people started threads on phones

Tech is just another board I won't visit. The specialty boards seem to be filled with snobs who consider themselves "experts" on the subjects.. its hard to have real conversation like we mostly can here.. I don't wanna talk music with those DBs I wanna talk music with OT folk..

There are a couple boards that should go like soccer being one. Those soccer poster have a gang mentality though. If you mess with one you get them all. I don't know how they would react with there board gone.

Fitness would have been a great choice, as would military/history.
A simple renaming of the Gaming Board to Gaming/Technology Board might have sufficed. After all we do not have separate movie and television boards or separate food and drink boards.
But, the nerds probably overwhelmed the admins with requests for it...

For those suggesting a board should be removed, you're living in fantasy land if you think Chicken and Circus Child would be ok with giving up the extra clicks and ad revenue it generates.

I don't post on it much but its the best board on TD imo with the excellent discussion that takes place there and its also very civil at the same time. Everybody's respectful of each others tastes in their entertainment selection so you would have to really go out of your way to troll the board. Like saying that Michale Bay is the best director in Hollywood and Transformers is Oscar worthy or something like that.

No one on the GB is upset about the TB. It's more the fact that a lot of the info shared on the TB is off base on things that some of us on the GB know a lot about. It's just funny to look at and frustrating to see so much misinformation being spread.
