Apparently New Orleans has a "vampire community"

None of them look like the vampires in twilight. RL vampires are nerds, not models and actors. Not the glamorous lifestyle they thought they'd have I'm sure, and they probably get a lot of Pervs mixed up with them

Why can't people fantasize being something cool?

what is the deal with vampires aversion to bright colors ?
Just once instead of an all black suit with a thin red tie, its would be nice if one of these prince/princess of darkness tried to mix in a nice pink or neon orange
