What are some decent ones that aren't outrageously expensive, rent houses are a lost cause in this shithole

Everything I've found in thib usually run no less than 700 a month. And I don't think that includes a lot of bills. I gave up on thib

It may come down in Houna with the oilfield situation, but it was as high as giraffe pu$$y when I left. I paid significantly less for a 3 bedroom house. Thib is going to stay where its at due to Nicholls and not having as many new apartment complexes. There was one place off MLK I thought looked okay in ads and wasnt oriced terribly. Changed my mind quickly after driving through the larking lot and seeing who my neighbors would be.

It wouldn't be bad if I still had a roommate but they changed everything up the day before they brought us on and now I am by myself.

It really is ridiculous. I'm a life long resident of the thibodaux area and I'll be the first to say it's a great place to raise a family. I'll also be the first to say the housing / rental market is a damn scam.
