I work from home probably 50 percent of the time. In most IT/IS related fields there is no reason to be in the office, unless you need a face to face meeting. (Which is why I'm at the office half of the time)

You have to have a CSA (harvest subscriptions, basically) for in-demand produce, spices, and herbs.

I "work from home" in that I dont have an office, but I work from coffee shops and on the road. My wife stays home with kids too, so I cant get shite done if I hang around there.

My wife needs to get out to work with an at home gig too, but anything worth doing in that sphere would never be posted on a message board so you are barking up the wrong tree.

Find out what she is passionate about and work to spn that into something. It will likely involve sales on some level, so if she's not cool with that your likely out of luck. Besides opening up a small daycare in house for your friends kids.

I travel 60-75% and work from home the rest. The key for me is a routine, coupled with a few breaks to go outside during the day. The hard part is turning off work, but when the family gets home I turn off work. On the flip side when I am traveling I work a lot later.
