I am pretty sure Tony Beets clears a serious profit at Paradise Hill. The dredges are just a hobby.

I'll amend that to say, "Turned a profit working the filmed claims."

I still have a hard on for Gold Rush and Deadliest Catch.

I root for Parker, frick the Hoffmans. I wish Dave and Freddie would roll out and start their own operation.

I love how Todd is so focused on "beating the kid" and the kid is just grinding.

Tony shite has gotten pretty stale too, Im tired of seeing that dredge frick up every 5 seconds

Couple of them are going to prison for PFD fraud for a few months. They're actually Texans.

Saw them in front of Walmart last summer. Their enclave is about 60 miles from here.

Pat attention to Parker's hair the next time...and wearing heavy coats in the height of the summer season when Parker's family visits.

Yall do know that this show is pretty much completely fake and most all expenses are paid for by the the history channel. The equipment is given to them by sponsors. Those fools have never made a dime off of the actual mining.

The bush people, are you kidding me, thats shite is damn near as bad as moonshiners. How anyone can watch that shite is beyond me. But then again look at who our president is and the state of this country.

I personally do not care if its mostly fake, its entertainment. I like the Alaskan Bush people show and watch the Gold Rush everytime it comes on. Do not care much for Parker, but I know he will "win" this year. I remember the first time he popped up on the show as a kid and advised the Hoffmans. Anyways, good family shows.

I seriously doubt the history channel has the money to fund 3 gold mining operations as well as pay everyone shown on the show.

Tony Beets is wealthy and is only doing the show for his ego. He makes a killing off Parker and I think he has a better mining operation that they rarely show.

Parker is recovering a lot of gold...but he is constantly upgrading his equipment and looking for new land so his profit margin isn't as good as it could be.

Hoffman probably is the only one not turning a profit off gold. He has so many investors that there is no way he is ahead...but he gets a good check.

I would think tony and Parker have a lot of gold they haven't even sold yet...when show first started I think it was $1700 an ounce...now it's about $1190

It's even lower than that. Currently at $1090.

the history channel

The show is in Discovery Channel.

Hoffman is a buffoon and if not for Dave Turin, Freddy Dodge and Andy Spinks, he would be in real trouble.

I will be shocked if Parker is not ultimately successful in the business once he figures out a way to get off of Tony Beets land.

For f&@%'s sake, Tony and foreman big Gene Cheeseman are the true miners on the show. Tony clearly knows what he is doing in running his business.
