I was a pack a day smoker for around 7 years. Haven't touched a cig since July.

I use the e cig everyday, and I haven't broken the habit yet, but it's still way healthier for me than a real cig. I've cut the nicotine in half from 24 to 12. Maybe one day I'll quit the e cig, maybe not. Either way I can breath better now.

I'm 31 going on 32. I started way younger than I'd like to admit, which was 12/13 years old. I only dabbled at that age but it ramped up in my early high school years. It was hard to tell that I smoked considering I played baseball and soccer and was never winded because my body was conditioned to the exercise. College only made it worse due to the stresses of class and Boredom.

I'm the same age as you with pretty much the exact same story. Well, I at least waited till about 15 or 16 to really start and didn't really start hitting it hard till I was 18. I've been trying to quit but nothing seems to work. I think I'm gonna give it a shot. Problem is my work isn't conducive to quitting. We are allowed to smoke in our offices so I don't even have to get up to have a smoke break.

I'm just now starting to taper. I wanted to be sure it stuck so I hit 24 mg's for 2 years. I'm on 18 now, but have bottle when this runs out at 12 mg's.

I never thought I'd quit smoking, but the hobby nature of vaping really helps you re-identify yourself with a new activity.

20 years for me. I haven't had a cigarette since I took the ecig out of the package.

I don't even notice a difference in cravings when I step down a nic level. The hardest part is getting used to having less throat hit, but it only takes a couple of days

It's a small business. The owner is a smoker and he says he'll be damned if he's not gonna smoke on his own damn property. There are only 5 of us that work there and 3 are smokers.

Gotcha. That's rare these days. Gotta be tough to quit when you have to be there. Good luck

Regardless, plan to budget about 100-150 to get a good set up with some juice and give it a go. If you really want to quit you'll succeed.

I've actually considered quitting the job over it.

I use mine while sitting at my desk with no issues. The time I would spend during the day to go out to the back of the office to smoke is now used for work so I've become far more productive at work and with more energy. I'm billing far more hours at work and the firm is making more money because of it which means more raises for me. I've also converted my co worker that was my smoking buddy along with my roommate and his mom who were also smokers.

Minus the money for the liquid, I say I only spent about $40-60 for a legit set up. Although I got my feet wet using the blu brand and moved on to a better set up which cost the quoted set up costs.

For those who have tried but still smoke, that's normal. The way I made the transition was to use the ecig and keep a pack of smokes in my pocket. I would use the ecig the majority of the day and smoke a cigarette here and there and quickly I grew a distaste for the taste and smell
of cigarettes because they became absolutely disgusting to me and I could notice the change in my breathing and this helped making the transition easier.

Get you an ecig and give it a try. I'm sure you'll be pleasantly surprised and make your co-workers jealous with all the cool new things you'll be able to buy with all the money you'll save.

Never was a true smoker, but rather smoked while drinking. Smokeless tobacco on the reg. Bought a vaporizer a year ago January b/c I wanted to quite & the SO hated the smell of smokes. Haven't had a cig since.

It works. Very glad I did it.

Small tip regarding juice. Don't be afraid to try juice with menthol, if you don't like menthol cigs. I never liked menthols, but they are some of my favorite juices. For example: Hawk Sauce and Thug Juice from Mt. Baker Vapor.

I haven't had a cigarette since last August, I'd recommend them as a device to whine you off nicotine and you can use the nicotine free juice if you still he the oral fixation

Never liked menthols but your comment is true. The "menthol" flavors are really mint and are good. I get my liquids from [link=(Www.bloog.com)]Bloog[/link] and typically stick to the tobacco flavors but I do enjoy flavors such as vanilla and blueberry. My favorite is called "Bogarts Blend". It's my favorite flavor from Bloog and in general (When I make an order I usually get 4 bottles at a time. It's my main go to liquid ). I haven't really tried any liquids from other vendors other than some from Smokecignals here in BR. But for some reason theirs give me a headache. I've used pg, vg and pg/vg blends before and neither gave me a headache so not sure why theirs do this. What vendors and flavors would y'all recommend to try? One of the other reasons I stick with Bloog is because their 30ml bottles are $12.95 across the board regardless of nicotine level and standard USPS ground shipping is free.

Man I have about five different E-cigs and still smoke. If you have trouble staying off the wagon but really decide to quit, these devices will assist you in getting by when you're incredibly nickin...but I'm convinced that patches are more effective. Cold turkey is the best way IMO. Ya gotta be ready though.
