There is one open at the 13th Gate in Baton Rouge, One at the Mortuary in NOLA opening in two weeks, and one in the postal building on Loyola right now.

We went the other day and had a blast. At first we all thought it was cheesey, then we solved the first clue and things got a lot cooler from there. We actually got out in an hour (with 2 minute left) they said only 25% get out.

It's set in a parlor of a wealthy NOLA family, you have to use their letters and personal effects to figure out where puzzles are, and how to solve them. It was challenging and we didn't get bonus, but we are told pretty much no one does.
The only crappy thing is you can only do it once. Once you know what you have to do to get out, you can get out in five or ten minutes.

Did one in New York in November. It was awesome. Kind of like you said, took it as a joke at first but the group really got into it once we saw how well done it was.

Did it in Houston a few months ago. Too many people allowed in the room IMO.

Did a zombie one in Dallas. Kind of cool but kind of lame, too.

The one in NOLA was fun, you would get something like a letter that would lead to a hint, which would lead to a hint, which would lead to a set of numbers, that would unlock a lock, that would give you the clue for the next chain of events.

There was a lot to process.

How many people go in at once? I was looking at a place like this in Tennessee a few years ago that was a pyramid and you went through the tunnels but all the reviews said there were too many people to enjoy it
