That's the cheaper brand of Prevacid, right? Doc said do two pills of P for the first couple of weeks. You're good, maybe.

Interesting you post this. Just refilled it and it has made a difference in my snoring. It has helped. Its a steroid and i was wondering recently if its ok to use for a lengthy period of time.

ENT said ok but questioning if thats the case.

I had bad issues with my sinuses and congestion. Doctor told me Flonase and Nasacort can be taken daily, like every day for the rest of your life, and you will have no issues. I take Nasacort daily and have not had an issue since and it's been a couple of years now.

I started eating local, unfiltered honey and my allergies are nearly gone these days.

Yup, did two nasal squirts 2x a day (b.i.d.) for a few years, until Doctor Feelgood gently pointed out I was double-interpreting the 'scrip. Duh.

1x of OTC Flonase each the morning these days. Breathing is good -- and costs much less now.

Try nasal saline spray in conjunction with Flonase. Works great.

Used Flonase for a year then the doc switched me to Dymista.

Dymista >>>>>>>> Flonase for long term use.

Was an Afrin addict for years....stuff is like crack. God, I loved it.

Now I do the saline and hit Flonase when needed. It's not as good, but i know I'm in better shape now.

Flonase and Nasacort are fine to be taken daily. They won't tear apart your sinuses like Afrin or all those other nasal sprays. Long term use of those things can give you real problems.
