Anyone own a Sealoc outdoor TV?

These guys take LG and Samsung tvs and spray all components with their weatherproof material. They seem to be cheaper than most other outdoor TV sellers/manufacturers I've come across.
1. Anyone own this particular brand and have a review?
2. Is an outdoor TV worth it/needed? We plan to keep it outside full time, so I assume the answer is yes.

That doesn't sound promising.

I bought the cheapest tv I could in the needed screen size, have it mounted under the porch, it does not get rained on but gets damp, I figured if I got a few years out of it I Would be doing good and just replace it, it is now 7 years old and going strong, glad I did not spend extra money making it waterproof, TVs are pretty cheap now, not worth the extra expense unless you are putting in a completely exposed area

Edit...the TV is necessary
...weatherproof is not.

You saw where mine hangs. It is "outside" but protected from rain and direct sun. It stays out all the time.

I.honestly don't think you need a cover unless it's exposed to rain.

The non outdoor TV on my screen porch has been outside about 8 years 24/7/365 uncovered. I knock the pollen off the screen in the spring and it's good to go.

I feel stupid. Yall just paid for the new fence and gutters by simply answering a question I should have asked alteady.
Next you're going to tell me my volcano insurance is a waste of money.

Dude..you can get cheap 50 inch tvs for 400. They will last at least 5 years. That other shot is unnecessary.

I had one but it fell off of my trailer today along with a blue couch.

I hope the TV and mount doesn't tip the house over. I'll have to get the wife to sit on the other side at all times. My big beauty can be the anchor.

Does anyone know of a wall mount that will allow a 50 inch to turn a full 90 degrees?
